My Obama won!! I am so happy!!
As much as I’m not a fan of Huckabee (to say the least), I am encouraged that both sides of the aisle are voting against the status quo.
Edwards has been sort of tickling at my conscience. I rejected him early because of his references to religion as a basis for his political and social beliefs – dangerous religious beliefs, in my opinion. Resulting in dangerous social positions.
But there’s a lot of good there, along with the bad that I saw.
I still despise Hilary.
And I don’t think it’s solely residual from my days campaigning for Papa Bush, laughing along at the FemiNazi jokes. I just. don’t. like. her. I like her husband! I adore his V.P. It’s just HER.
I mean, come on – how scripted is her constant reference to “Eat, Pray, Love.”
Which was, by the way, my MOST HATED book of 2007.
This could be a very exciting year.
Oh, and how cool is this: E came out of her bed for the typical 10,000th time after she was supposed to be asleep, ostensibly to “fill her water bottle” but also to say that lying in bed, listening to the Iowa commentary, she realized that this may be – could be – the last president before she votes. If the winner this year gets 2 terms – she will vote for the replacement.

What do you think of an Edwards/Obama ticket? I think that’s where its heading. Its anyone’s guess at this point though.
